It’s that time of year once again as passes to the upcoming PAX Australia have officially gone on sale.
The three-day video game extravaganza will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre but is happening a little earlier this year compared to previous shows. PAX Aus 2019 will run from Friday, October 11 till Sunday, October 13.
As of today, tickets have officially gone on sale with early-bird pricing available to those interested in swooping in for a bargain.
A Three-Day Pass is the best value on offer at $170.00 AUD, while individual day passes for Friday, Saturday and Sunday will set you back $60.00 AUD each. International visitors are encouraged and Three-Day passes are available at the same price though for those coming down under for the event, be sure to read the terms and conditions.
We know from first-hand experience that PAX Australia is easily one of the most positive experiences a game enthusiast can have. Imbued with a real sense of community and safety among fellow gamers, the show is a melting pot of different gaming cultures and ideas.
Whether you’re waiting in line on the show floor to play the hottest new title, relaxing in one of the many gaming lounges or enjoying the numerous panels and talks at the show, PAX Australia has something to offer everyone. The show has also made a noteworthy effort to be as inclusive as possible, including creating spaces for LGBTQ gamers to feel secure and meet others.
PAX has once again teamed up with mega-retailer EB Games to bolster the size of the show and PAX content boss Guy ‘Yug’ Blomberg took to Twitter this morning to promise that this PAX Aus was going to be something special.
